The software you are using hasn't been used in a while. You would then press the optimize button and the software would lay the parts out on the panel for you. Some of the software also had an option that allowed you to input the part sizes and quantities you want to cut. I'm not certain this is going to accomplish exactly what you want because I'm not certain exactly what it is you want but this is the basic guideline you have to follow when programming cuts. After doing a head cut (2) you may have no material to cut on the rip (3) so you enter the full value of the panel size for your rip cut value before progressing to a cross cut (4). For example if you program a head cut (2) you have to follow it with a rip cut (3) before you can do a cross cut (4). The numbers have to follow each other when programming and you can't skip.
